Email Setup - Samsung Mobile

For Samsung mobile phones you will require a variety of configuration settings to successfully add you email account onto the phone. To proceed with the setup, please ensure you have the following:

  • An IMAP or POP email package (view prices)
  • Your email address: you@yourdomain.com
  • Your email password

Please Note: the below setup instructions are valid for the latest version of Android. The setup, configuration or troubleshooting of third party devices and their applications is outwith the remit of service that we provide. Any additional support may be chargeable as a result.

How to Configure Mail For Samsung Mobile

  1. Search for the default mail application: Email (red icon).
  2. Select the 3 horizontal lines at the top left of your screen.
  3. On the menu which opens up, select the cog icon at the top right.
  4. Choose Add Account and then Other as your mail provider.
  5. Enter Your email address and password.
  6. You'll then be prompted to enter the manual setup details as follows:
    • Account type: IMAP or POP (not sure which?)
    • Username: Your full email address*
    • Incoming server: mail.yourdomain
    • Security Type: SSL
    • Port: 993
    • Outgoing server: mail.yourdomain (IMAP) or relay.netzoomi.net (POP)
    • Security Type: SSL
    • Port: 587
    • Required authentication to send emails: ON
    • Username: Your full email address*
    • Password: Your Email Password

  7. Once you have filled in all of the above select sign in to complete the addition of your account to your Samsung mobile.
  8. * For POP accounts, please refer to your Domain Managment Portal as usernames may vary.
