Email Setup - Outlook

Before adding your new email account onto Outlook some manual inputs are required to configure your account correctly. Before you start, you will require the following details:

  • An IMAP email package (view prices)
  • Your email address: you@yourdomain.com
  • Your email password

Please Note: the setup for Outlook may vary dependant on the version you are running - for older version please refer to Microsoft's own online tutorials. The setup, configuration and troubleshooting of third party email applications such as Outlook is outwith the remit of services that we provide and any additional support may be chargeable.

For all POP account users please use the following settings:

  1. Username: Refer to your Domain Management screen for your username
  2. Incoming server: mail.yourdomain
  3. outgoing server: relay.netzoomi.net
  4. Incoming port number: 110 - Encryption: None
  5. Outgoing port number: 897 - Encryption: None

How to Configure Outlook 2010

  1. Open Outlook, click File then Add Account
  2. Next, select Manually configure server settings or additional server types and then Internet E-mail
  3. Now proceed to fill in the boxes as follows:
    • Your Name: This is what others will see when you email them.
    • E-Mail Address: Your full email address
    • Account Type: IMAP
    • Incoming mail server: mail.yourdomain
    • Outgoing mail server: mail.yourdomain
    • Username: Your full email address
    • Password: Your email password

  4. Before clicking Next, select More Settings to continue on to the advanced setup configuration
  5. Click on the Outgoing Server tab and check the box for My outgoing server (SMTP) Requires Authentication ‐ use same settings as my incoming server
  6. Click on the Advanced tab make the following changes:
    • Incoming encryption method: SSL
    • Incoming port number: 993
    • Outgoing encryption method: auto
    • Outgoing port number: 587

  7. Select Next to complete the setup.

How to Configure Outlook 2011

  1. Open Outlook, go to the Tools menu then click Accounts
  2. Select the E-mail Account option at the bottom
  3. In the next window, enter your details as follows:
    • E-Mail Address: Your full email address
    • Password: Your email password
    • Username: Your full email address
    • Type: IMAP
    • Incoming server: mail.yourdomain
    • Check Override default port
    • Check Use SSL to connect (recommended)
    • Change the port number to 993
    • Outgoing server: mail.yourdomain
    • Check Override default port
    • Change the port number to 587

  4. Click Add Account to complete the setup

How to Configure Outlook 2013

  1. Open Outlook, select File, Account Settings
  2. On the Email tab select New
  3. Choose Manual setup or additional server types then POP or IMAP
  4. Proceed to use the follow settings:
    • Your Name: This is what others will see when you email them.
    • E-Mail Address: Your full email address
    • Account Type: IMAP
    • Incoming mail server: mail.yourdomain
    • Outgoing mail server: mail.yourdomain
    • Username: Your full email address
    • Password: Your email password

  5. Before clicking Next, select More Settings to continue on to the advanced setup configuration to add the following:
    • Click on the Outgoing Server tab and check the box for My outgoing server (SMTP) Requires Authentication ‐ use same settings as my incoming server.
    • Click on the Advanced tab make the following changes:

  6. Click Next to complete the setup.

How to Configure Outlook (Office) 2019

  1. Open Outlook, select File, Account Settings
  2. On the Email tab select New
  3. Enter your email address, select Advanced Options then check Let me set up my account manually
  4. Choose IMAP
  5. Fill in the next screen as follows:
    • Incoming mail server: mail.yourdomain
    • Encryption method: SSL/TLS
    • Port: 993
    • Outgoing mail server: mail.yourdomain
    • Encryption method: auto
    • Port: 587

  6. Select Next
  7. Enter your email password to complete the setup
